My April Essential Reward order is here! This month my order was a lot of the oils that come in the Premium Starter Kit (I ordered 6 of the 11 oils), they really are still some of our most frequently used oils.
Thieves
I always keep a bottle of Thieves on my order. We LOVE Thieves!
Lemon
We use Lemon for lots of things. I use 1 drop in a large bowl of water to wash my produce.
Lavender
Super versatile oil and a house favorite. Great soothing support for the skin too.
Peppermint
Peppermint is another must have oil in our house. I like to make my own Peppermint mocha with a toothpick swirl of Peppermint oil in my coffee with a little dark chocolate almond milk!
Cedarwood
This oil is a favorite diffused at night with Lavender. When I go in my sons room during the day while he is at school…his room still smells so good from this combination diffused the night before.
Tea Tree
Tea Tree oil has been repackaged with the name Tea Tree oil instead of Melaleuca Alternifolia. Definitely an easier name to remember, say and spell. 🙂 Tea tree oil also has many uses but we most commonly use it to support the skin. Great to have on hand as we head into the spring and summer months.
Citrus Fresh
This oil blend is like a breath of fresh air. It is uplifting and a perfect oil to diffuse. It just smells like spring. I recently cleaned out a little corner of a cabinet with my last candle items and passed them along as I just never use candles anymore. I am obsessed with my diffuser and endless oil choices and combinations.
Peace & Calming
When I put this on my order I did not know it would be my last bottle until early fall. Due to weather conditions the harvest was significantly lower for some of the botanicals in this blend. So we will use this oil sparingly over the upcoming months. It does smell amazing and it is what it says…Peaceful + Calming!
NingXia Red
Starting the day with NingXia Red is something I love to do. It tastes so good and has many health benefits. My little guys love it too, especially my 3-year-old. He says, “Mom, did I have my Ninja Red today? I need it.” Our bodies crave it.
What was FREE!
My order qualified for the April Essential Rewards promotion, so I received a 5ml bottle of Wintergreen and Lavender. Also, a 3-pack of Thieves Spray. Thieves Spray is so convenient to spray down just about anything, i.e. backpacks and surfaces.
There are lots of benefits to the optional Essential Rewards program with Young Living. If you find yourself purchasing something on a regular basis, don’t miss out on getting free products in this program.
Thanks!

I am sharing all the details of my March Essential Rewards order. Lots of great things this month!
Young Living Favorites
NingXia Red
I love starting the day with a shot of NingXia Red. I have come to actually crave this first thing in the morning. If you want to start a new habit…add NingXia Red. You will be so glad you did.
Peace & Calming
Always a favorite to have on hand. Lately, this is my 6 year old’s preferred oil for bedtime. Most nights we diffuse it. I find myself wanting to snuggle in and sleep with him when I start his diffuser with Peace & Calming. It smells so good.
Cedarwood
Cedarwood is another great bedtime oil. Diffused by itself or with a few drops of Lavender. We apply it topically too.
Thieves
Our ‘can’t live without’ oil. We LOVE Thieves!
Tranquil Roll on
This little roll on bottle just got a rebranding face lift. So pretty! If you are looking for oils to try beyond your Premium Starter Kit, Tranquil makes my list of next must-haves. This bedtime oil is quick and easy to apply.
Lime
A great add in oil for flavoring your water. Try 1-2 drops in homemade guacamole. Lime is supportive to the immune system and healthy skin.
Oil Bottle Cap Labels
It is all about organization with these colorful bottle labels. No more picking up each bottle to see what you are looking for in your oil collection. Worth all three dollars!
The New Things
Sacred Frankincense
So this is ‘kind of’ new for us, as in not a regular purchase. My first 5ml bottle of Sacred Frankincense I received for free with a monthly promotion, over a year ago. Just a drop works great and makes this bottle last a long time. It has many uses and is a very versatile oil.
Pine
Pine essential oil is supportive to the respiratory system. It is one of the oils in the blend, RC.
Endoflex
This oil blend is great support to the endocrine system. It contains Spearmint, Sage, Geranium, Myrtle, Nutmeg and German chamomile. I am looking forward to trying this oil.
Longevity
Just one capsule a day of Longevity to support the body’s systems in preventing the damaging effects of aging, diet, and the environment. Longevity contains the essential oils…Thyme, Orange, Frankincense and Clove. Longevity is also supportive to brain function, cardiovascular health, promotes healthy cell regeneration, and supports healthy liver and immune function.

Ortho Ease Massage Oil
You can go for that extra push on your daily workout because you know you have this amazing massage oil to soothe you when you get done. 🙂 It is also great support for the skin.
Marjoram
Marjoram, just like most essential oils has multiple uses. It is a great oil to consider using for digestive support in addition to its many other uses I mentioned here.
Idaho Balsam Fir
Idaho Balsam Fir supports the respiratory system. This essential oil is helpful in emotional support too.
So that’s my March order. Lots of favorites and some new things too. 🙂

I am often asked…”what other oils should I try?” I thought it would be helpful to share some of my must-have oils after the oils in the Premium Starter Kit! I personally keep a running wish list, as I run across information on particular oils, so I can remember to try them. A lot of times I use my accumulated Essential Rewards points to get new oils for FREE. Yes, FREE! Make sure you get setup up on Essential Rewards so you can get some of your next oils for FREE, too! After using essential oils for a few years these are some of my favorite and must-have oils.
Melrose
Melrose was one of my very first ‘next’ oils for many reasons. It is great for the skin and is very cleansing and purifying to the body. This is just an oil that you will be so happy to have on hand.
ImmuPower
Great for increasing positive energy. The oils in this blend are Hyssop, Mountain savory, Cistus, Camphor, Frankincense, Oregano, Clove, Cumin, and Dorado azul.
Oregano
Oregano is supportive to a healthy lifestyle. Yes, it does have a strong smell, I think, so not an oil you would use and then run right off to work or school. It can be easily put in a vegetable capsule or topically applied with a carrier oil.
Cinnamon Bark
This powerful oil smells AMAZING. It is great for supporting the immune system. It is an important ingredient in many Young Living products including Thieves®, Abundance™, and Inner Defense™. This is a hot oil so one you will want to dilute before using. Put a few drops in a capsule or even in hot water or tea to soothe.
Tranquil Roll on
We use this super convenient oil daily at my house. It is a blend of Lavender, Cedarwood and Roman Chamomile…so calming to the mind and body!
Peace & Calming
We love Peace & Calming! It smells really great and may promote relaxation and a sense of peace. Perfect for winding down for sleep. The oils in this blend are Tangerine, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Blue Tansy.
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Cedarwood is the highest known oil in sesquiterpenes. This oil is calming and relaxing and also helps with mental focus. Cedarwood is really inexpensive and provides such versatile benefits. When asked what his favorite oil is, my 3-year-old will tell you Cedarwood and Lavender. 🙂
Eucalyptus Radiata
Eucalyptus Radiata has a gentle scent and is stimulating and rejuvenating when diffused. Eucalyptus Radiata can be used in your favorite household cleaners, and is an important ingredient in Breathe Again™ Roll-On, Thieves®, and R.C.™ essential oil blends. A great oil to have on hand.
RC
RC is a blend we use topically to the chest or feet. It is also great diffused for additional comfort. The main oils in this blend are Eucalyptus Globulus, Pine, Marjoram, Eucalyptus Radiata, Lavender, Black spruce and Peppermint.
Raven
Another blend we alternate with RC. The oils in Raven are Ravensara, Lemon, Wintergreen, Peppermint and Eucalyptus Radiata.
Breathe Again Roll on
This convenient roll on supports respiratory health and is full of amazing oils. Eucalyptus Staigeriana, Eucalyptus Globulus, Laurus Nobilis oil, Rose hip, Peppermint, Eucalyptus Radiata, Copaiba, Myrtle, Blue Cypress, and Eucalyptus Blue. This blend was formulated by D. Gary Young
White Angelica
We use this oil on a daily basis on the top of the shoulders. It helps foster feelings of protection and security. You can really smell the Sandalwood in this blend, which is like the best smell on earth.
Ylang Ylang
This oil was so helpful for me as I was sending my first little guy off to Kindergarten this year. I love the scent…sweet and mildly floral. Ylang Ylang helps with emotional balance. I think we can all agree that everyone can from this oil.
Envision
Envision is another blend I just recently discovered and have come to LOVE! It is known to encourage new faith in the future and accomplishing goals and dreams. The aroma of the oils in this blend….Spruce, Geranium, Orange, Lavender, Sage and Rose are awesome together.
Abundance
This oil is a blend of Orange, Frankincense, Patchouli, Clove, Ginger, Myrrh, Cinnamon and Spruce. These oils have been known in ancient and modern cultures to attract prosperity and enhance joy and peace. A diffuser favorite and also great worn on the wrists.
DiGize
A soothing blend of oils that is great to use at each meal for digestive support. A drop under the tongue, in a vegetable capsule or applied topically to the stomach are all helpful ways to use DiGize.
Deep Relief Roll on
Deep Relief is a cooling and soothing blend. The essential oils that make up this roll on are Peppermint, Wintergreen, Copal, and Palo Santo. Deep Relief can be hard to get your hands on sometimes, as it is an ‘oiler favorite.’
Grapefruit and Orange
Citrus oils are a great way to bring to life your glass of water. Tastes great and is uplifting.
Elemi
I use Elemi essential oil for skin support. I love it applied on top of my daily moisturizing. Elemi is traditionally known for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Elemi is of the same botanical family as frankincense and myrrh…two other amazing oils for the skin.
So there you have it, my favorites, after the oils that are our staples in the Premium Starter Kit. I love trying new oils and finding new ways to incorporate them into my life. I hope my list gives you some ideas of oils to add to your own ‘wish list!’
