Essential Rewards

December Essential Rewards!

Essential Rewards

Here is what I got in my Essential Rewards order this month!  Lots of favorites.

Thieves

We love Thieves at our house.  It was our first oil and one we still use often.

Lavender

So many uses for Lavender and I always have some on hand.  We use it for something every day.  We love lavender!

DiGize

I would panic if I was running low on this oil blend.  It is really amazing how it works instantly for any occasional digestive concerns. A drop of DiGize on the belly and all is good in minutes.

Cedarwood

An oil we love for calming the mind to focus and calming the mind for a restful sleep. Cedarwood supports mental focus.  Who couldn’t use a little Cedarwood each day, right?!

Tranquil Roll-On

The perfect nap time and bedtime blend for my little ones.  The Roll-On is great because they can even do it themselves with supervision.  My guys call it ‘the tickle oil’ because of how the roller ball feels gliding over their skin.

NingXia Red

Each month we are still getting the Essential Rewards package of NingXia Red.  The price per ounce makes it the cheapest option for purchasing NingXia Red.  Everyone in my house loves it!  It is one of the few things I don’t have to remind my husband about.  He drinks it on his own everyday before heading out the door.  I plan to keep making this investment in our health.

NingXia Nitro

Little pouches of healthy energy for anytime you need it.  I like to drink one and apply peppermint oil before exercising.  NingXia Nitro helps with mental fitness and athletic endurance.

Treasure of the Season

I was looking forward to getting this oil blend this month.  It is not an oil available for purchase. It was a December promotion exclusive.  This blend was created from two varieties of Frankincense essential oil combined with Cinnamon Bark and Idaho Balsam Fir essential oils. This one-of-a-kind blend is warm and spiritually uplifting.

Vetiver

Vetiver has a heavy, earthy fragrance similar to patchouli with a touch of lemon. Vetiver oil is psychologically grounding, calming, and stabilizing. One of the oils that is highest in sesquiterpenes, vetiver was studied by Dr. Terry Friedmann for improving children’s behavior. Vetiver may help when coping with stress and to recover from emotional trauma and shock.  I am glad to now have it on hand but it is not an oil I have used yet.

So that is my box of Young Living goodies for December!  I am so thankful for this box each month!  If I can answer any questions about Young Living, Essential Rewards or anything at all, please contact me!

Thank you!

Young Living essential oils

November Essential Rewards

Young Living essential oils

My November Essential Rewards order is full of lots of great Young Living products!

Restock of our favorites

Thieves

A staple on my order every month.   We always make sure we have this blend on hand.

Raven

A new favorite for us after our recent use of Raven on vacation.  This oil is soothing and comforting when applied to the neck and throat.  Can be diffused too.

DiGize

Another must have oil for support of a healthy digestive system.

Joy

A great attitude adjuster for everyone.  I wear it on my wrists and over my heart.  I diffuse it to help the whole family!  🙂  This oil will keep you enjoying the crazy busy holiday season coming up.  Read my post on all the ways we use Joy, here!

Cedarwood

Cedarwood and Lavender in the diffuser is great for getting a good night of sleep.  Recently I have been grabbing this combination instead of my Peace & Calming.  A completely different scent but still very calming and relaxing.

Cinnamon Bark

Just a restock of this oil for its immune supporting properties.  A great oil for the diffuser with a little orange and nutmeg.  No need for candles when you have a diffuser and a few drops of Cinnamon Bark.

NingXia Red

The Essential Rewards package of NingXia Red is the perfect quantity for us!  It comes with 4 bottles and 30 Single packets of NingXia Red.  We love starting our day with a quick shot of NingXia Red.  It is full of antioxidants.

New Oils

Tranquil Roll-On

This is the first time we have tried this blend.  It is consists of Cedarwood, Lavender and Roman Chamomile in an easy to apply roll on.  Sounds like ‘sleep’ in a bottle for sure.

Jade Lemon

The Jade Lemon is native to China.  Instead of turning yellow at maturity, it remains green which allows the concentration of oil to continue within the fruit.  The oil is not released until the fruit is picked, making it more fragrant.  Jade Lemon is energizing and uplifting and also contains high levels of d-limonene.  Supports clarity of thought and healthy skin.

How to use essential oils in a capsule

How to use essential oils in a capsule!

How to use essential oils in a capsule

When I first starting using Young Living essential oils I mainly used them topically or aromatically.  When I did start taking a few internally, I would normally just put a few drops in my mouth or put them in a small amount of water.  It took me a bit to start using essential oils in vegetable capsules.  I sure wish I would have known how easy it was earlier on.

You just put one of your Young Living Vitality essential oils in a size 0 or size 00 vegetable capsule.  I buy the size 00 that holds about 10-12 drops and leaves room for a little carrier oil too.  These can be purchased from Young Living or at a local health food store.  You literally open the clear capsule add your essential oil or oils and carrier oil of choice and close the capsule.  For a carrier oil, I use the Young Living V6 oil, that I keep in an amber-colored dropper bottle.  An organic olive oil, fractionated coconut oil, or any organic seed oil will work.  Then just swallow the capsule with some water.  Super easy!!

It is always worth mentioning I only take Young Living essential oils internally and specifically those that are labeled for internal use aka the Vitality Line.  I would never take a store-bought essential oil internally.

If you are ready to start your own oily journey, the best introduction to essential oils is with the ‘Everyday Oils’ in the Premium Starter Kit.  Visit my Order Oils page to learn more.

Thanks so much!
