I am often asked…”what other oils should I try?” I thought it would be helpful to share some of my must-have oils after the oils in the Premium Starter Kit! I personally keep a running wish list, as I run across information on particular oils, so I can remember to try them. A lot of times I use my accumulated Essential Rewards points to get new oils for FREE. Yes, FREE! Make sure you get setup up on Essential Rewards so you can get some of your next oils for FREE, too! After using essential oils for a few years these are some of my favorite and must-have oils.
Melrose
Melrose was one of my very first ‘next’ oils for many reasons. It is great for the skin and is very cleansing and purifying to the body. This is just an oil that you will be so happy to have on hand.
ImmuPower
Great for increasing positive energy. The oils in this blend are Hyssop, Mountain savory, Cistus, Camphor, Frankincense, Oregano, Clove, Cumin, and Dorado azul.
Oregano
Oregano is supportive to a healthy lifestyle. Yes, it does have a strong smell, I think, so not an oil you would use and then run right off to work or school. It can be easily put in a vegetable capsule or topically applied with a carrier oil.
Cinnamon Bark
This powerful oil smells AMAZING. It is great for supporting the immune system. It is an important ingredient in many Young Living products including Thieves®, Abundance™, and Inner Defense™. This is a hot oil so one you will want to dilute before using. Put a few drops in a capsule or even in hot water or tea to soothe.
Tranquil Roll on
We use this super convenient oil daily at my house. It is a blend of Lavender, Cedarwood and Roman Chamomile…so calming to the mind and body!
Peace & Calming
We love Peace & Calming! It smells really great and may promote relaxation and a sense of peace. Perfect for winding down for sleep. The oils in this blend are Tangerine, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Blue Tansy.
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Cedarwood is the highest known oil in sesquiterpenes. This oil is calming and relaxing and also helps with mental focus. Cedarwood is really inexpensive and provides such versatile benefits. When asked what his favorite oil is, my 3-year-old will tell you Cedarwood and Lavender. 🙂
Eucalyptus Radiata
Eucalyptus Radiata has a gentle scent and is stimulating and rejuvenating when diffused. Eucalyptus Radiata can be used in your favorite household cleaners, and is an important ingredient in Breathe Again™ Roll-On, Thieves®, and R.C.™ essential oil blends. A great oil to have on hand.
RC
RC is a blend we use topically to the chest or feet. It is also great diffused for additional comfort. The main oils in this blend are Eucalyptus Globulus, Pine, Marjoram, Eucalyptus Radiata, Lavender, Black spruce and Peppermint.
Raven
Another blend we alternate with RC. The oils in Raven are Ravensara, Lemon, Wintergreen, Peppermint and Eucalyptus Radiata.
Breathe Again Roll on
This convenient roll on supports respiratory health and is full of amazing oils. Eucalyptus Staigeriana, Eucalyptus Globulus, Laurus Nobilis oil, Rose hip, Peppermint, Eucalyptus Radiata, Copaiba, Myrtle, Blue Cypress, and Eucalyptus Blue. This blend was formulated by D. Gary Young
White Angelica
We use this oil on a daily basis on the top of the shoulders. It helps foster feelings of protection and security. You can really smell the Sandalwood in this blend, which is like the best smell on earth.
Ylang Ylang
This oil was so helpful for me as I was sending my first little guy off to Kindergarten this year. I love the scent…sweet and mildly floral. Ylang Ylang helps with emotional balance. I think we can all agree that everyone can from this oil.
Envision
Envision is another blend I just recently discovered and have come to LOVE! It is known to encourage new faith in the future and accomplishing goals and dreams. The aroma of the oils in this blend….Spruce, Geranium, Orange, Lavender, Sage and Rose are awesome together.
Abundance
This oil is a blend of Orange, Frankincense, Patchouli, Clove, Ginger, Myrrh, Cinnamon and Spruce. These oils have been known in ancient and modern cultures to attract prosperity and enhance joy and peace. A diffuser favorite and also great worn on the wrists.
DiGize
A soothing blend of oils that is great to use at each meal for digestive support. A drop under the tongue, in a vegetable capsule or applied topically to the stomach are all helpful ways to use DiGize.
Deep Relief Roll on
Deep Relief is a cooling and soothing blend. The essential oils that make up this roll on are Peppermint, Wintergreen, Copal, and Palo Santo. Deep Relief can be hard to get your hands on sometimes, as it is an ‘oiler favorite.’
Grapefruit and Orange
Citrus oils are a great way to bring to life your glass of water. Tastes great and is uplifting.
Elemi
I use Elemi essential oil for skin support. I love it applied on top of my daily moisturizing. Elemi is traditionally known for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Elemi is of the same botanical family as frankincense and myrrh…two other amazing oils for the skin.
So there you have it, my favorites, after the oils that are our staples in the Premium Starter Kit. I love trying new oils and finding new ways to incorporate them into my life. I hope my list gives you some ideas of oils to add to your own ‘wish list!’
