April Essential Rewards

April Essential Rewards!

My April Essential Reward order is here!  This month my order was a lot of the oils that come in the Premium Starter Kit (I ordered 6 of the 11 oils), they really are still some of our most frequently used oils.

April Essential Rewards

Thieves

I always keep a bottle of Thieves on my order.  We LOVE Thieves!

Lemon

We use Lemon for lots of things.  I use 1 drop in a large bowl of water to wash my produce.

Lavender

Super versatile oil and a house favorite.  Great soothing support for the skin too.

Peppermint

Peppermint is another must have oil in our house.   I like to make my own Peppermint mocha with a toothpick swirl of Peppermint oil in my coffee with a little dark chocolate almond milk!

Cedarwood

This oil is a favorite diffused at night with Lavender.  When I go in my sons room during the day while he is at school…his room still smells so good from this combination diffused the night before.

Tea Tree

Tea Tree oil has been repackaged with the name Tea Tree oil instead of Melaleuca Alternifolia.  Definitely an easier name to remember, say and spell.  🙂  Tea tree oil also has many uses but we most commonly use it to support the skin.  Great to have on hand as we head into the spring and summer months.

Citrus Fresh

This oil blend is like a breath of fresh air.  It is uplifting and a perfect oil to diffuse.  It just smells like spring.  I recently cleaned out a little corner of a cabinet with my last candle items and passed them along as I just never use candles anymore.  I am obsessed with my diffuser and endless oil choices and combinations.

Peace & Calming

When I put this on my order I did not know it would be my last bottle until early fall.  Due to weather conditions the harvest was significantly lower for some of the botanicals in this blend.  So we will use this oil sparingly over the upcoming months.  It does smell amazing and it is what it says…Peaceful + Calming!

NingXia Red

Starting the day with NingXia Red is something I love to do.  It tastes so good and has many health benefits.  My little guys love it too, especially my 3-year-old.  He says, “Mom, did I have my Ninja Red today? I need it.”   Our bodies crave it.

What was FREE!

My order qualified for the April Essential Rewards promotion, so I received a 5ml bottle of Wintergreen and Lavender.  Also, a 3-pack of Thieves Spray.  Thieves Spray is so convenient to spray down just about anything, i.e. backpacks and surfaces.

There are lots of benefits to the optional Essential Rewards program with Young Living.  If you find yourself purchasing something on a regular basis, don’t miss out on getting free products in this program.

Thanks!

AromaEase

AromaEase from Young Living!

We recently returned from a long road trip to our favorite beach location.  Since our last trip, Young Living now has a new oil blend called AromaEase.  We HAD to try it, as both my son and I are not the best travelers and I thought this would be the perfect oil for us.  This is now our new MUST-HAVE oil for trips!  We both loved it.

AromaEase

What is AromaEase?

It is a powerful blend of Ginger, Cardamom, Peppermint, Fennel and Spearmint.  It is very calming and soothing.  I think AromaEase oil blend has the potential to be helpful in a number of scenarios.

How we used AromaEase

We used AromaEase just like we normally would have used Peppermint.  We put it on behind the ears towards the sides of the neck.  Whatever was left on my hands, I just put on our chests and even down to the abdominal area.  We applied AromaEase right before we got in the car (at 5 o’clock in the morning!)  I kept the bottle close by in case he wanted to inhale the scent from the bottle, but you know what…he didn’t need it!  The topical application alone was enough.  We have another favorite oil.  🙂

Happy travels and as always thank you for reading!

September Essential Rewards

September Essential Rewards!

I wanted to share with you the really great things I got this month in my Essential Rewards order!  A lot of times we are just restocking our ‘must haves’ but this month we are trying some new things.  Fun, right?!

September Essential Rewards

NingXia Red Essential Rewards

This package of NingXia Red is only available to those on Essential Rewards and it is the best value in terms of price per ounce.  It comes with 4 bottles of NingXia Red and 30 NingXia Red Singles (2 fl. oz. ea.).  I am still trying to get the quantity right for our family of four and we are getting pretty close to figuring it out.  I am thinking this might be what works for us.  It is nice to have the singles too for on the go or when my husband travels.  NingXia Red is an amazing antioxidant drink that we are adding to our regimen and especially this time of year.  Here is more detail on NingXia Red from Young Living.

Peace & Calming

Just restocking on a favorite.  We diffuse a few drops of Peace & Calming at night to get the kids calmed for bed .  I also apply it topically on my boys before bed.  Lately, I have been putting it on their wrists and inner arms.  The feet and top of shoulders or spine are some other great application sites.

Sheerlumé

So this face creme is a bit of a splurge for me.  I have been wanting to try it for a few months and had read about Sheerlumé for evening out your skin tone and complexion.  It is recommended for use on your face, neck and hands and to use morning and night.  I love how it goes on and the smell is really great too.  As I get older I wish I had focused a little more on shielding my face from the sun in my younger years.

Elemi essential oil

Elemi is referred to as “the poor man’s frankincense.”  Just like Frankincense, it is great for the skin for things like fine lines and wrinkles.  I am combining one drop with a little Sheerlumé in my hand and applying it to my face and neck.  Elemi is also helpful in soothing muscles after normal exercise.

Clear Vegetable Capsules

These come in a package of 250, size “00” from Young Living and I have found them to be the best for taking oils internally. They can fit about 20 drops of oil or a mix of oil and carrier oil in each capsule.  These capsules are Non-GMO, 100% natural, vegan, gluten and starch free.

Raven

One of the freebies for September and an oil I did not have.  Glad to have this on hand.  I will diffuse it and apply to the chest and neck and maybe even the bottom of the feet.

Samples of Thieves, Peppermint and Lavender

I have put a few in my purse in case we need them or to share with someone who may need them.  I always carry Peppermint and Lavender anyways.  Peppermint is great to support normal digestion and Lavender is really calming.

NingXia Nitro

Another freebie and product I had not tried yet!  We love NingXia Red so I knew we would like the Nitro too…and we got to try it for FREE!  Yay!  My husband took a few on his business trip out-of-town this week.  NingXia Nitro is great for mental clarity and focus and a natural alternative to caffeine and energy drinks.  I have enjoyed them before a workout with my Peppermint dabbed behind my ears.
