Here it is…

Lime Essential Oil

So excited to have this citrus oil.  We love avocados!  We like them plain with a little sea salt or a quick guacamole.  So I tried the lime oil in a batch of guacamole and made a rookie move, which is pretty common place for me in the kitchen! 🙂 Just a little advice, start with 1 drop and then add to taste.  I was quickly reminded how strong these oils are.  The recipe I was following said 5-6 drops and used only 2 avocados, so I thought it would be conservative to use the 5-6 drops with 3 avocados.  Umm…Wrong!  We saved it with adding another avocado and more sea salt, but you could still really taste the lime.  My favorite guacamole recipe is my mother-in-laws, and if you are interested I posted it on Girls Just Want to Go Green.  Super yummy and simple! Lime essential oil is also a great antioxidant and supportive to the immune system, even mental alertness.

Ocotea Essential Oil

This oil comes from the ocotea tree in Ecuador.  It has a bit of a cinnamon base but is a lot different from a traditional cinnamon taste.  It is known for its cleansing and purifying properties.  The other common use for Ocotea is to aid the body in its response to injury and irritation.

Our Promotional Oils

The oils we got FREE this month for the July promotion are Ylang Ylang and Bergamot.  So far I have worn the Ylang Ylang on my wrists and inner forearms and diffused it.  I have done the same thing with the Bergamot.  These oils smell great and are both uplifting!  I am really glad to have them with my little guy starting kindergarten in just a few short weeks.  Yikes!  This Momma will be relying on lots of oils and prayer.  I also know that God likes to cover you in peace in times when you need it the most!

Our Regular Oils…Lavender, Grapefruit, Orange and Deep Relief Roll-on

These are oils we use often…almost DAILY.  The Lavender we use for just about everything.  Grapefruit and Orange we use to flavor our water and Kombucha.  Deep Relief Roll-On can be applied to many locations and has an energizing and invigorating scent.  This little roll-on is a must have!!

NingXia Red

Then lastly we needed more NingXia Red.  We ran out about a week before our new order arrived and I could absolutely tell.  The perfect antioxidant drink for the body.

Who qualifies for the promotion?

The monthly promotions are available to BOTH customers and wholesale members who purchase at these different PV (personal volume) levels in a single order.

What is PV?

PV stands for personal volume.  All the Young Living products have a personal volume associated with them.  So for instance the wholesale price of a 15 ml bottle of Lavender is $23.50, so the PV is also 23.50.  You will see the PV calculate on the far right when adding a product to your cart.

What is FREE for July?

190PV ~ Bergamot essential oil (5ml) and Ylang Ylang essential oil (5ml)

250PV ~ Bergamot essential oil (5ml), Ylang Ylang essential oil (5ml) and $15 in product credit

300PV ~ Bergamot essential oil (5ml), Ylang Ylang essential oil (5ml), $15 in product credit and 10% back in Essential Reward (ER) points.

Bergamot Essential Oil

This single essential oil is uplifting and relaxing.  It is one of the oils that is in the blend, Joy.  The scent is much like you would expect from a citrus fruit…light and sweet.  It is most commonly known as the flavoring ingredient in Earl Grey tea.  There are many other uses for this essential oil…it is great for troubled skin.  This is a photosensitive oil, so it is best to avoid direct sunlight after using Bergamot.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

This oil has a light floral scent.  It is one of the oils in the Peace & Calming blend and a common ingredient in many men and women’s fragrances.  Ylang Ylang is also used in hair formulas to promote strong and shiny hair.  Ylang Ylang has a long list of uses…great for the skin, calming and relaxing, promotes feelings of confidence and filters out negative energy.  It may even help release feelings of anger, tension and nervous irritability.  This oil has been on my wish list for awhile!!

$15 Product Credit

If your July order is 250 PV or more you get a $15 product credit.  This credit will be applied to your account and can be used just like cash towards any Young Living product.  Free money for oils!  YES!!

10% back in Essential Reward (ER) Points

If your July order is 300 PV or more you earn 10% of your total order back in Essential Rewards points.  This is in addition to what you already earn on Essential Rewards!  Woohoo!!  I told you these points add up fast and this is just icing on the cake.  I see a lot of free oils in our future. 🙂 To receive these points you do need to be enrolled in the Essential Rewards program.   Read here about the details of this free program.

Here is what was in our order this month…

NingXia Red 

My family loves this awesome antioxidant drink.  We tried it a month or so ago and everyone loved it.  My little guys get so excited to get their shot of “Ninja” Red. 🙂  It tastes really good and has some pretty amazing health benefits.  I think this will become a staple for us.

Thieves Waterless Hand Purifier

This is the best hand purifier.  A little goes a long way and the last 3 pack I purchased was last summer.  Infused with Thieves to get your hands clean without water.  This is great for use after being out at parks, baseball fields and wherever else summertime fun takes us.

Our Promotional Oils

My order qualified for the June promotion and I was able to get 15 ml bottles of Citrus Fresh, Lemon and Purification for FREE!  Definitely some great restocking of useful oils.  All perfect for summer!

Our Regular Oils

The other oils in my order this month were Lavender and Peace & Calming.  Some months it is just about the basics and this was one of those months.  Love knowing we are all stocked up!

It really is like Christmas opening this box of goodies.  Ok, more like Christmas where you already know what you are getting. 🙂 Still exciting none the less.  I also love knowing these are a gift that extends to my family!
