Essential Oils to Support Your Skin!

Essential oils for the skin

After being outside most of last week on spring break…my skin is loving these oils this week!  They are so easy to incorporate into your daily routine.

Frankincense and Lavender are two amazing essential oils to keep your skin looking great.  They are extremely versatile and can be added to moisturizers, face scrubs, face washes, and even Epsom salt baths.

I personally do not add either oil directly into my product container.  I put a drop in my hand and then my normal amount of moisturizer, face wash, etc. and mix together in my palm and apply with my fingertips.

Frankincense is uplifting and can smooth the appearance of healthy skin.  Lavender is also just as relaxing to the mind and body, as it is helpful to the skin.

These are must have essential oils and both come in the Premium Starter Kit!

Peace & Calming

Peace & Calming | Essential Oil Use

Peace & Calming

Peace & Calming is the perfect essential oil blend for winding down each night and especially from a long week!  My kids love it before bed and I love it once the house is quiet.  One of my evening diffuser favorites for sure.

Due to the popularity and the seasonal component of one of the oils in the Peace & Calming blend, it goes out of stock from time to time.  Peace & Calming II is just as relaxing and calming, and usually always available.

When using topically, we apply to the bottom of the feet, wrists, or up and down the back.  I love about 4-6 drops in the diffuser, depending on the room size.  It smells so good!

Keep Calm and Carry On!

Essential oils for post-workout

Essential Oils for Post-Workout

Essential oils for post-workout

Since I shared my favorite pre-workout oil, I wanted to also share some oils for post-workout.  Essential oils are great for soothing tired muscles after a workout.  The combination of Peppermint and PanAway are great together for recovery.

PanAway is a blend of Wintergreen, Helichrysum, Clove, and Peppermint essential oils. The aroma is stimulating and the topical application after exercise is really soothing and cooling.

Peppermint is a key ingredient in not only PanAway but also AromaEase, Aroma Siez, Relieve It, and Deep Relief Roll-On…all of these are also great choices of oil blends to use post-workout.

I like to start with a carrier oil or my carrier oil stick and then 1-2 drops of PanAway over stressed muscles.  Next layer a drop of Peppermint on top to drive the oils in deeper with a cooling and tingling sensation.  Aaaah…now this is how you recover from a great workout! 🙂
